Boxer Insane
Too co-incidental!!!
Hi Dakota's Mom...
Good to hear from you again...your story gives me chills...and guess what..I first posted on the Introductions Board just a few weeks ago, while we were waiting for Hannah's cart to arrive and the message I first posted was so similiar to yours it's scary. I was feeling sad and so afraid the cart wouldn't help and I felt like everyone thought I was just being to selfish to let her go so I thought.... let me try this Boxer Board thing and see if anyone has had a similiar experience....no one had...BUT the support and encouragement I received from other people who really understood how I felt was such a boost for me and when the cart arrived and it took Hannah all of four minutes to realize what it could do for her...I felt like I had COME HOME when I gave the first report of Hannah on Wheels.
Please keep me posted on how Dakota is doing and I hope he adjusts to his cart the way Hannah has....
One quick funny story...we have a friend who has a boxer...her dog is very defensive, very protective and kind of growly and of course Hannah has never met anyone or anything she doesn't just love ...but the other boxer always ruled the roost because Hannah would never "talk back"....Well last night we went to their house for the first time since Hannah was in her cart and the look on this other boxer's face was a classic....she just stared and kept backing up away from the fence....and Hannah was like "what's wrong with you...never seen a girl in a buggy before?" It was funny...the other dog did not know what to think and I think Hannah felt kinda proud!!! Good Luck and keep me posted! I'll be anxiously awaiting more news!
