What's Your Favorite Part of the Day?

I love Lael so much. I have been feeling a need to express it. So I thought of a way ... What is your favorite part of the day with your boxer?

I have 3:

1: First thing in the morning when she wakes up. She comes over and lays her head on the bed and softly kisses my face until I wake up. Then, she wiggles and woos at me until I roll over and give her a big hug.

2: When I get home and she is waiting at the door beaning like mad. Sometimes I think her back end is going to lift of the ground. She's just so happy to see me she can't contain herself! I cannot tell you how healing it is to come home to this kind of love everyday. Regardless of how I feel when I leave work, I am always encouraged after a good 15 minute smooch from my sweet Lael.

3: Right before bed. She gets real sleepy, but can't go to bed until Mom starts to go to bed. She'll come and lean against me and look at me with eyes that say, "Mom, I love you. I'm tired and need a little love from you."

I have to say that my heart is bigger because of the love I receive from her.

Tell me about your favorite part of the day.

Late winter nights. I love when they settle on the couch with us. Tyra snores away and Elmo makes suckling sounds. I like smelling them while they sleep.

My favorite time of the whole day is at the end of the day when we tuck the kids in bed at night. Greta always goes along with me and has to "help" get them settled in. She'll spend about 5 to 10 minutes with both of them and then wander back into the livingroom with this look like..."awww..there're finally asleep" Then she'll sit on the floor beside me and "ask" to jump up on the couch beside me. Of course I say hop on up. Then we just sit there and enjoy the quiet time and snuggle close. She is such a joy! Awww...I want to go home and be with my girl right now!

My favorite time is in the evening after they've got all the crazyness out of them and they want to lay on us and snuggle while we watch TV. Then when Micah stands there and stares at me becasue he is ready to go lay in the bed but wont go untill I get up and head for the door. Then he takes off and by the time I get to the bedroom, he's already in bed waiting for me. And then he rolls over and lays on me and snuggles all night. It's so sweet and soothing.

My favorite parts of the day:

1. In the morning when Ping wakes up with us, he stretches and yawns and we go outside and run around.

2. When I come home... everything is wonderful when you come home to a boxer!! You feel like the most loved person in the whole world! :D

3. I also love that sleepy look at night.. Ping will wait for me to go to bed, he'll snooze on the couch while he waits but just keep looking at me like "is it time for bed yet?"

When I come home... everything is wonderful when you come home to a boxer!! You feel like the most loved person in the whole world! :D

#1 My favorite part of the day is when I come home from work and the little one's waiting at the window giving me a big smile as happy to see me as I am to see her, and greet's me with lots of kiss's and hug's.
#2 bed time is always a good one, she's the best little cuddle bug

1~ In the morning when I wake up with Sirus' head right next to mine on the pillow. I grab him and cuddle with him for a couple of minutes and get my Boxer hugs and kisses!

2~ When I get home from work (or anywhere for that matter!) and Sirus meets me at the garage door! The look on his face and his wiggles just warm my heart!

3~ At night when we cuddle in bed before seepy-time! Sirus is the best cuddler! It reminds me of how lucky I am to have such a gorgous boy loving me and taking care of me!

I love mornings too... I am NOT a morning person; I'm quite grumpy - but Chloe makes me better. I love interacting with her: she's slow to wake up - I sit on her bed with her and cuddle; she stretches and I wait for her - then we go to the kitchen and I give her her vitamin; and she just looks at me with all her love... neither of us wants to talk - we're just grumpy but in love at the same time; she's the best.

I get a different response when I get home from work; she lively and hyper and just wants to kiss me and can't stop moving her wiggly little bum. she wants to tell me about her day; and i tell her about mine; and we're loud - and it's so much fun....
