What's your boxer's favorite toy??? Elmo??

Beanies

Dillon has a big gorilla beanie buddy that we gave him when he was a pup thinking the fur would remind him of his mama. He has had it for over a year and a half and I am proud to say not a rip in it. He gets other stuffed animals and usually tears them up.

I have noticed though, if I get him anything that is bright in color, orange, yellow, green, etc., he seems to lean toward those. He likes the bright things, squeeky things and and stuffed animals he can shake until their stuffing comes out.

Major had a big stuffed Spongebob that he loved too. It might have squeaked, but I don't remember. That one bit the dust a while back tho. Right after that, he picked up the Elmo. He does like to tease my kids by stealing their favs and then make them chase him for it. It's a huge game my 5 year old likes to play with him. They chase each other around the house until the other one surrenders the toy! Kids and dogs, what could be better!

Moucho has an Elmo too- I got it at a yard sale, thought it was so cute, seemed to be saying mommy. Alas, it was saying tummy, hand, foot, nose and mouth. It now only says tummy and hand, but he still loves it. For weeks now, the darn thing has been talking, I don't think it's ever going to shut up!!! Of course he still has to take it with him wherever he goes, even outdoors. It seems the voice gets a little weaker sometimes, and I think ok, it's finally going to stop- then he doesn't play with it for a day and it seems to come back to life, .

Mush's favorite toy....

......is anything that's within her reach. Including things that were never, ever meant to be toys.....inside the house that is. Outside, her favorite toys are the bees that skim the tiny flowers in the grass. She'll stay out there and stalk them until the sun goes down when they disappear. Even if they continue to sting her mush lips......

Grunt's favorite toys are any ones that squeak. He also likes things that aren't supposed to be toys like empty water/soda bottles, socks, shoes, towels, leather gloves, and his cat sister. One of his favorite things to chew on is the rubber backed insole out of an old tennis shoe that he worked on for days to get it pulled out of the shoe. Once he got the insert out, he tossed the shoe in the corner and never touched it again.

Mugsy loves this one squeaky toy. It is a rubber squeaky elephant with dredlocks! My mom bought it for him, and he's broken the squeaker, so now it just blows out air, but he loves it! He sleeps with it and carries it around with him, he'll even bring it to bed - if i kick it off the bed, he'll wake up from a dead sleep and bring it back up on the bed! At least it's a silent toy!

Duchess loves any squeeky toy, and especially loves a pig I got for her that when she bites just the right spot, it sounds like a pig oinking. Her favorite time to play was when PaPaw came over - she'd immediately get a toy and take to him. My dad passed away a year ago tomorrow, and Duchess just doesn't play with her toys like she used to. She now favors a chew bone that she brings to bed every night.
