Legend's is Zeilman's Legendary Bad Boy (fits him!)
Mazzy doesn't have papers, since she's a rescue, but if she DID have an AKC name, it would be:

Mabel =Lovable - Sounded earthy - was almost Maude
Prunella =Little Plum - I love the name Pru
of Amber =Amber is her mother
Reilly Tiernan of Amber
Rielly =Valiant = he had gone thru a lot before I got him
Tiernan =Little Lord = it has to be his way or no way
of Amber = Amber is his mother too.

Would you believe we named her after my husband's V-Star motorcycle?
The hubby picked the name "Maggie" as he walked around holding her in his arms and cooing to her, "What will we call you little girl? You look like a Maggie to me" and the name stuck!

Can't think of a thing to name yer pup after!!! Actually that's a great idea! If/when I get another pup, Shadow will be added to the list of possible names!!!

My little baby boy was called "chief" by the breeder and they were going to originally keep him before they found out that they were going to have another child.
They had picked out the AKC name (but not yet registered) and it was going to be "Merry's Mighty Chief Tomokee". Apparently there is a legend about a Chief Tomokee in Orlando (I don't have any idea what it is). Maybe someone out there can tell me.
....so on with the story...
When we adopted him we wanted to call him something other than "chief" so I picked the following:
Merry's Charismatic Cooper
Merry is the name of the breeder
Charismatic because that is his personality
Cooper - I saw the movie "What Lies Beneath" (Michelle Pfeiffer and Michel Douglas) and their dog's name was Cooper and I liked the name.
The paper's haven't been filed yet - I am not sure the name is long enough - you only get one chance at this!!

Go Tiger, MIT Litter Box of Molly
GO - Part of Dad's name
Tiger - He's a Brindle
MIT - Wish I had gone there
Litter Box - He can't take his eyes off the cat's litter box
Molly - Part of his Mom's name
Just doesn't have the same flair!

My Reznor's AKC name is Rowdy Reznor Rito Supreme. Rowdy was the name of my Grandfather's horse and best friend that basically saved his life on one occasion. Reznor is for Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. His music helped me get through some bad teenage years and he is still my favorite ten years later! The Rito Supreme is like a burrito supreme because that is what it smells like he eats. He is my first dog after wanting one BADLY for over 6 years and he has changed my life, so that is why the name we chose has so much meaning.
