TAZZIES MOM

Boxer Pal
My female boxer, for a week had a problem with a lot of saliva, she was swallowing constantly. Then last thursday, it was running from her mouth like a faucet, friday morning i took her to the vet. Of course, she was over it. the vet checked her over and found nothing. Her heart murmer has gotten better, he could hardly hear it, So, that had nothing to do with her episode. He said she may have had an upset stomach or had something cut her mouth. He said just to keep a watch on her eating and drinking to see if that changes. She has been normal ever since.Has anyone else had this problem???
I worry about her alot, she has had a lot of problems in her 4yrs.

her 1st puppy shot she passed out, then got hives from the lepto.

i noticed she was passing blood when she urinated, we took her to the vet, They came out laughing and told me she was in heat and had been bred. :( not funny to me. i had been waiting for that to happen so i could separate my dogs. Next week she is still bleeding alot... only when she goes to the bathroom, back at the vet, GUESS WHAT??? she has stones. medicated dog food for a month , and shes all better.

CHANGED VET.

She ran in to a wall, when she was playing and knocked her self out. called the vet.

Time to get her fixed. vet calls to tell us she has a heart murmer and will have to change the med to put her under, which will make surgery more of a risk. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to go ahead with the surgery, the vet reassured me that it would be alright.

Now she has a urinary problem from being fixed, because of the lack of hormones, she was leaking urine. now she takes replacement hormones, and it helped her alot.

She has been a challenge in keeping her healthy , but she is worth it. AND SHE IS SPOILED ROTTEN!!!!!

Carrie,

John has had the running faucet lips too. He dripped constantly one night & I had to tuck towels under his chin. He soaked several towels but finally stopped and was fine & has been fine since. I have no idea what caused the dripping. I looked in his mouth & couldn't see anything out of the ordinary but with lips like those, how can you be sure?? :D

Sounds like Tazzie is a wild woman and you have your hands full! I'm glad she has you for a mom! (I bet your vet is too!!)

Ruby had that drooly faucet lip twice when he licked a frog outside (you think he learned from the first time?) and it went on only for about 20 minutes. Maybe your baby smelled or licked something outside she shouldn't. I'm sure she will pull through this after what she's been through. You are a good mom.
