LOL - Papa Roach does this all the time.

He gave me a scare a few weeks ago - he wasn't paying attention and banged into the corner of a wall (right after darting away from me - he wanted me to chase him

I love coming home to the kidney bean! It is the cutest thing...

Does anyone else boxers get them toys too? When I come home Mason kidney beans over to me and then keeps on going over to his toys and brings it back to me...kidney beaning the whole time! We had a golden retriever and I thought he might have picked this up from her. So I was just wondering if any other boxers out there shared this trait too.

Beaning and toys

Part of the coming home ritual after kidney beans and woo woos is the fetching of toys. Both of them do it, grab their toys and tear through the house as if they have to outdo each other on their welcome. And Titus has cropped ears, so his ears are back, pinned to his head with excitement. They just make you feel so welcome after a long day at work!

I love coming home after a horrible day at work and my "beanie baby" welcoming me home. Maggie beans all the time - even before she gets into her crate each morning. Just a boxer way of saying (and beaning), "I love you, mommy!"

I love the wiggle bum dance! It's part of the fun of Boxers! Angel is a real pro at it too! It makes me excited just to watch her go. It's great.Once you go boxer you never go back. Boxers not Briefs I like to say!

I agree the best time of the day is when I get home from the office and there is my girl just "beaning" away and walking towards me as if to say "mom, I am so glad to see you and I missed you!!!"

If we could just teach our husband/boyfriends, etc to bean for us when we get home.

Laila hasn't been fixed yet and is currently in heat (spay date is set for March 2nd) and she has to wear a diaper. I swear that the diaper causes her to bean 10 times more exagerated and she is always swinging her butt into things! My best friends teases me by saying my dog is broke! I love the bean.... its cute and funny!

Yes, Zack does that also! Except it doesn't have to be a toy, just anything that will fit in his mouth. Like a sock, piece of paper, a book, a paper plate, just anything he can get his mouth on!

It's funny when people who don't know about boxers see Zack do the kidney bean thing. They always ask why he's walking sideways. I'm so used to seeing him dance around with his butt next to his head that it doesn't even seem unusual anymore!

Before I was on BW, I called this the "C" shape.My two love to do this also. People think that something is wrong with them. Nope, just a boxer thing. Samson brings me toys everytime. However, Delilah does not. Duchess(at the bridge) always beaned and brought toys. This is one of the traits I love.
