I share my frozen yogurt with them, off of my spoon. Falko and Annabelle do it really well, they tilt their heads just right and lick away.
My 9 month old German shorthair hasnt perfected licking quite yet. He still opens his mouth all the way like he's taking a bite of something. I sort of have to wipe the spoon on the roof of his mouth to get the frozen yogurt to drop in his mouth.
I share with my cats too...I love them all so much!

Mine cries, I pick her up. She cries again, I smooch her ears. She sleeps... I put her down, she cries.

She's only just about 3 months old now - but when she wakes up at night to "get busy" she bolts to our bedroom before we can pop her back in her crate. EVERY MORNING @ 4:30 she cries 'till she's in bed - sharing either my or my G/F's pillow.

You people are all nuts- thank goodness I am ok here in Michigan. That is if you don't count buying SuzyQ nice pillows at garage sales after I caught her stealing ours off the couch. Calling her sweet petunia and suzalita and making up little songs that I sing her. Also I use the old 3 stooges routine on her "slowly I turned, step by step, inch by inch" all the while creeping up to her with my hand in the gotcha position - her little stubby tail just goes balistic till we come to where I yell I got her real loud and she runs around the house and we chase each other up and down the stairs. She drapes accross my lap when I'm sitting on the couch and we give each other huggies. My husband thinks I'm off my nut.

Oh boy i could rattle off a list. But my friends don't even get shocked anymore about what I do for Aasha. They already think i'm nuts and have learned to accept it.
Ahh-but they ask for advice! Everyone says I am nuts too but the minute a dog gets sick or "misbehaves" I too get the call too! So how crazy are we

I thought we were suppose to make sure they are covered up at night. I cover Moe up and always pat his tummy. I go out of my way looking for a special toy. I have sat with him curled up in my arms for hours because I know he doen't feel well. I have been really uncomfortable in bed because Moe wants to share my pillow. The strangest thing I do is if it is gonna storm I rush home or just change my plans because Mopar is afraid of thunderstorms and I won't leave him alone. LOL. The dh is the one that uses baby talk as if Moe is talking. I put up with alot more from Moe than I did my son. I will tell Moe every night don't take my spot in bed. He runs to get there and lays his head on my pillow just to tease me. If I don't come in right away I catch him peeking and if he sees me he will lay down and pretend he is asleep. I swear the dh and the dog live to trease me. They huddle and see what they can come up next. Sometimes those people that say hes only a dog make me so mad!!! I tell them hes a little person in doggy clothes.
