I Absolutely agree with all the above!!

I only got my first one Nov 2005 and last month got the second pup! Before that I never understood what it was like to be boxer mad..

Last week Friday I went on a date, and we were talking and before I knew it the subject was my kids.. I even pulled out my phone and showed him the photo album..

So yes I LOVE my pooches like mad!

My life revolves around my dogs. When August gets here and my first skin kid is born, Buster and I are both going to be in for a rude awakening. Everyone says, 'What's Buster gonna do?' My response is, 'I don't know what EITHER of us are gonna do.'

Please don't misunderstand me - I am tickled and GREATLY EXCITED about the birth of my son....but, I still love my dogs..... BOY oh BOY do I love my dogs.....

I knew we weren't crazy!!! These little babies just steal your heart lovicon

My aunt came in last night from NY and she is a real animal person, she has 4 dogs (Lhasa Apso's) and god knows how many cats. She feel head over heels in love with the girls and at one point she had both of them laying on her on the lawn chair...40 or so lbs. of puppy. It was too adorable. I was taking pictures and my 6 yr old got mad cause I wasn't taking pics of him swimming.... What a bad momma!! I did videotape him!!

We are all boxer nuts!! I love Jack so much. All can't keep track of the hugs and kisses he gets in a day. I think that is what those big floppy lips are for!! When I kiss him he often talks after. I tell my husband he's telling me that he loves me too!! Until you own a boxer, you cannot explain the true personality of one. They are so close to human........ hard to believe a dog can be the way that they are. I LOVE JACK!!

Our boxer rules the roost. Tuggy knows he is the king dog in the house. He gets lots of fresh blankies, momma buys him new toys all the time.

He is spoiled and he knows it. Everywhere we go, he goes with us if they allow dogs.

It amazes me when I got the first one how soon I needed another one! They make our lives full and there really is never a dull moment. You can't stay mad at them no matter how expensive those shoes were because they look at you and smile..what would we do without them?

Our life revolves around Asia as well ... ... and like some of you, no one understands it!

With the scare we are going through right now (with Asia and her enlarged heart), it's hard to think about losing her because we have come to realize now (more than ever) that she is such a huge part of our lives! Lately, Mark has been getting off work early to be home before I go to work so that she won't have to be alone (in case anything were to happen)!

I've never been this way with a dog before ... it must be something about being a Boxer ... and about being Asia - she is so unique! We just don't know what we'd do without her in our lives ... lovicon

Wow!! It seems we all feel the same about these babies. DH and I talk about them all the time. It's like they are our children right now. Our closest friends and family understand our love for them, not many others do. I cry if they are hurt or have to go to the doctor. Two weeks ago Grady had to go in for his heartworm treatment and I cried for days leading up to dropping him off for the day/night. It is true, these dogs are like none other. They are so special and they have stolen all of our hearts. I wish everyone could know the love of a boxer. It is wonderful...

Before I decided to get a boxer I was not a dog person. Not at all. I always thought they were basically stupid animals. You could mistreat them and they would come back for more. Well then I decided to get a boxer. It was my 2004 Valentine's present from the BF. I fell in love with Toni before I even got her home. Once she was about 6 months old I knew that I needed another one. She needed a constant playmate. So for Valentines 2005 I got another boxer. My little boy, Aubie. (I did tell BF that next Valentines Day maybe he should get me some flowers or candy lol). These two dogs are my life. All my skin kids are grown with families of their own so my dogs are the ones that keep me company. I really feel sorry for all those people that do not understand and have never experienced the love of a boxer!

Before I got Jackson, I too was not a real dog person. Actually I was more for a cat. I had a dog , Keeshond, but he was almost like a cat in the way that he lid around by your feet, wouldn't sleep in the bed, not a really playful dog. When I got Jackson, my desire to have a dog totally changed. I woul d never let a dog lick me, didn't like the smell of a dog, dirty breathe......etc. Now, once I got Jackson , I got another child. I kiss him all of the time, wipe his lips, pick at his flybites, like a real youngster. I'd almost wip his $@#^ after using the bathroom, and that is saying somethig!!! They are so wonderful!
