What to feed a gassy pup?!?!

I have a 9 month old pup named Lola and gas has always been a problem for her. Her gas is excessive and deadly. No joke Lola farts 3 times an hour on a good day. I know the quality of the food can cause gas, but is there any other remedy that can limit her gas. I do give her charcoal dog biscuits because I heard that it helps and for a 2 weeks she didn't have gas , until someone feed her a raw-hide. Any suggestions? Thanks

What are you feeding her? You can mix a spoonful or plain yogurt in with her meal. I mix a very small spoonful in with Owen's breakfast and dinner. Boxers in general are known for gas though

yes ive also heard about plain yogurt being good for gas, i've just started trying that with Cinnamon--she's eating it as we speak.

I would give anything for just 3 an hour.....

My Doja, shes my 'lil' farter.... she litterally lets them rip about every two to three minutes..... especially if its late at night when were relaxing on the couch. I once said that I would never change my dogs food because of farts.... then one day, I decided, no more wet food for Doja.... I was mixing a little spoon of wellness with her chicken soup, just to spoil her, but then, the farts became too much. We ride in the car A LOT, and one car ride with these farts, was just tooo much! Shes funny cause sometimes she hears them and looks around like, "what was that?" and she even sniffs em..... and I just tell her "it was you baby, my lil farter!"

I just ha dto laugh at this! Luka did that the other night- the looked at his bum and then put his ears back!

I had the same problem with my Brandy. It took over a year of trying different types of food combinations to finally put a dent in it. appicon
Once I switched to a premium kibble without corn or wheat, I saw immediate improvement.
Now Brandy gets Nutro Ultra, supplemented with raw beef, fish (canned is OK), plain yogurt, and raw vegetables.
Also only premium treats!
