Hello everyone~ my computer decided to let me on the site today!!!! - well Ohio is COLD and SNOWY... and I am not sure what to do (this has never happened) - Basil has Frostbite!!!! I washed her off with a warm rag and warmed up a blanket that she is cuddled up in. She is raw around the bottom of her legs! - can I put anything on it to help??? its bitter cold up here... and she stayed outside for too long (Lord only knows why she didn't come in when she was cold!!) I just wasn't sure if Vaseline or some kind of Balm or Lotion would be good for her? Thanks... Ive tried not letting her outside, but she does have to pee! our other dog is a snow dog and loves to stay out in this, and he is fine... but she is just not built for it!!!

We are in Ohio too and it is FREEZING! Lily doesn't have frostbite but the other day I let her out to pee and I shoveled a little bit and we were only out for about 5 - 10 minutes and when she came in she wasn't putting her right front leg down at all - after a couple of minutes it must have warmed up and she was running around as usual. Hope you find some answers to help with the frostbite.

My boy used to do this. I finally figured out that he was getting snow packed in between his toe pads.

It is cold here too - okay so it is not 20 degrees cold - but it is still cold!
My pups do their business and come runnin' back in!

This week is freezing here! Were around -34 celsius with the wind chill. Stella has made herself a little bathroom path outside. 3 feet from the door to pee, 6 feet to poop, then right back in. We didn't go for our walk last night, and don't think we'll be going tonight, so just doing different activites here inside. Hope your baby feels better soon!
