What to do with family

Hi..
I can understand how you feel about what your Grandparents said. "We" are from a different generation. Animals used to be left outside - tied or cooped or barned.. Now we have animals that are our family. Our babies.
We have friends that "like, but don't like dogs". If you can understand that. He comes over and acts like: "how could you let that dog on the couch ?", "how could you let him lick you and everything else?", "why don't you have him tied up outside ?". "dogs like THAT should be outside and not roaming the house !"... I was so close to telling him to leave and don't bother coming back. But he just started talking about something else and I let it go - for now... If he does it again I won't be so easy going.... And, of course, WHO does "charlie" go to while they're here ? Not all the people that are dog lovers. No, he goes to the guy who should be sitting outside with "charlie".. and then "he" should stay out there when "charlie" comes in !!!!
So, don't take it to heart - older and ignorant people just don't have the love and compassion that we boxer lovers do...

travel water bowl
ziploc baggie of treats
bottle of water
leashes
plastic bags for poop disposal
container of dog food
a squeaky toy
a rawhide bone
Obviously there are no diapers, Trace is spayed and Mella is too young for all that.
I have it all packed up, because my dogs travel around with me as often as possible.

Heather we do the same thing :D Rocky has taken over my backpack when we go on trips LOL So if he sees it get pulled out he knows he is going somewhere and he immediately gets excited :p I take everything you do except for rawhides (I don't feel comfortable giving those ) and dog food. Rocks is on a raw diet so taking his meals isn't an easy task

They do get into stuff, don't they? My pups are still young that the rawhides last for weeks. I throw them away when any piece could fall off or be swallowed. Trace LOVES the Nylabones Edibles line of bones.
