I have heard several of ya'lls stories about your boxer eating, chewing, and destroying things, but I think what Mya did last night has everybody beat. Last night my girlfriend and I wanted to go out for a little fun after a long week. I told my dad we were going out and I was going to put Mya in her kennal. My dad told me to leave her out because he wanted to play with her and that he would put her up before he went to bed. Well my Dad fell alseep on the couch leaving out. Before he woke back up she found his $5,000 pair of hearing aids and destroyed them, but did not swallow any of it. Then she found my mom's new glasses that she had just replaced costing her $250. Lastly she tore into my fathers glasses. This pair of glasses came out ok just slightly chewed. $5,250 in one night!! OUCH!

WoweeWowWow! That was an expensive nap your dad took. What was his reaction when he woke up and saw the carnage? Thank goodness it was him leaving her out and not you huh!

My boxer has never destroyed anything too expensive. A couple of pairs of shoes and a pair of slippers and some dog toys. But my pug has eaten 3 or 4 remote controls, two pairs of eye glasses, and 3 pairs of leather boots!!!!! Of course, they were both forgiven for everything. They are so darn cute.

The worst thing Maddie did was eat $100 in cash!!!! I had left it out on the table, all 20's, and left her alone for about a half hour. When I looked for the money, all she left was a little corner hanging off of her smooshie...and I could see that it was a 20!
I was soo mad, but of course she was forgiven. I didn't leave any more money out on my kitchen table, though.

Pops was very mad, but most at himself for leaving them within her reach. The same thing happened to my dad's mom's (my grandmother) hearing aid. Her weiner dog destroyed hers. He didn't stay upset too long as they are insured and can be replaced. I am hoping that it won't be as expensive as to replace because all the electronics are still good it is just the casing that has to be replaced. From what my dad told me the hearing aids are custom mold to fit each ear so maybe they can mold new casings and use the same electronics.

That takes the prize for a single evenings work as far as I know!! OUrs ate our tax return ck once...half way. THere was enough left for the amount and tracking number, so they cashed it!

Thanks for making me weary about my pup and his chewing. He hasn't gotten to that stage yet, and I adopted his mother when she was 4 so I didnt have a problem with her.
Hopefully an abundence of toys with deploy him from chewing my stuff! LOL *smile*
Really interesting stories here!

My first boxer, Cassius once chewed up my eyeglasses! Luckily, I had a spare pair. Champ - the boxer we have now - has chewed three television remotes and one air conditioner remote. They seemed to be his favorite "chew toy" when he was younger (he'll be 2 in June).
