I thought it might be good to start a thread and have everyone list products that actually work like they are supposed to, toys that your boxer loves, a great kind of dog treat, or just anything that you think we should try. Here's my list:

Frosty Paws dog ice cream - Zack loves this stuff! It was hard to find, because every grocery store around here hides it way off in some obscure corner of the frozen foods section but I'm glad I finally found it.

Air Dog toys. They are made just like tennis balls, but they come in different shapes. Zack loves things that bounce like these toys do and so far they have held up very well.

Freeze dried liver treats, made by Pro-Treat. Zack is picky about what kind of treat he will eat at school, and these are the only things that work. They don't look that appetizing to me but Zack goes crazy for them. He has turned up his nose at hot dogs, peices of meat, and just about other kind of treat but these always keep his attention.

Quick Bath wipes. Kind of like a baby wipe. Works really good for a quick clean up before going out in public. ;)

Petzyme odor remover. This stuff works. Last year at this time I was trying to potty train two puppies at once and this was the only thing that really got rid of odors. I think you can only buy it at Petsmart.

So what products would you recommend? :)

Now, let's see. . . Things we can't live without. . .

I use Nature's Miracle and it is essential. No matter how well housetrained, accidents do happen.

Nutro Max Dog Bones. They love them.

Kong on a Rope. Both girls really enjoy playing with this toy and it has lasted 2 years now!

Tennis balls. What would we do without them?

Bones from the butcher. Talk about hours of peace (not much quiet with all that chewing/grinding) !!

Our vet!

The Canine Seat Belt by Aspen Pet Products. It's a harness with a loop on the back to put a seat belt through. It's at Petsmart and Petco. Rowdy doesn't go on a walk or ride without it.

Nylabones. Tyra and Elmo love Nylabones. They are a must for those long rainy nights when I can't walk them.

Headhalters. I can't walk my two without their headhalters. Walks are so much more enjoyable now that they aren't pulling me to the park.

Stainless steel food bowls -- easy to clean and safe for smooshy faces licking up every bit of goodness.
Great big stock pot -- the only thing they can lap water from without flooding the floor
Cheap dog beds stufffed with soft, soft fiberfill -- they like those WAY better than the cedar-filled ones
SureShot Barker Breaker -- non-electric bark deterrant makes a loud warbling noise in response to barking. Eliminates nervous barking so we can bring them camping with us
"Natural Health for Dogs and Cats" by Dr. Pitcairn -- This book has been a wonderful guide for nutrition and homeopathic treatments
Used Kleenex -- I had to include SOMETHING the dogs think is as wonderful as the stuff I think is wonderful

Kongs.

Two of ours like the floor pillow one doesn't.

Pedrigree Treats, the jumbone, the marrowbones, the breath biscuts.

Plastic covered cables for camping, etc., really easy for the dogs to be on.

Feeding mats, keeps the boxer mess off the floor.

We've started using oxyclean carpet spot remover and its really good.

free but necessary.. the plastic shopping bags from the store, for cleanup, walks trips, etc..

Tennis balls, Zoe runs around with them in her mouth all the time.

I love the Pro Plan food, their coats look really good and no allergy problems, they like it too.

Sounds realatively cheap to keep them happy.

True, true, true. I don't know how I'd manage without those roomy, opaque, free bags. (Just be sure there aren't holes in the bottom before you use them.)

Each other, that's so true! Igor miss his Pénéloppe so much when I'm going for a walk with just one of them!

Clicker is one of the thing I love the most. Ok, I could just use a verbal cue, but my too reacts so much to the click-click!

Books and forums, essentials to me and my dogs, I have learn so much about how making their life better!

Crate

Kong and peanut butter, Pénéloppe just can't live without that!

Hot-dogs, what a magical treat! They can do everything to have a tinny piece!

A headhalter for Pénéloppe, fear aggressive toward unknow dogs, and a body halter, for Igor who can pull a lot when excited (but he's getting very very good).

Igor wouldn't survive without a couicky toy, and it helps me a lot to learn him Come and to stop him from barking in the backyard!

Some plush to shred in part (under supervision) and a rope to pull together.

Definetely the jumbone! Quincy loooovvveeesss those!
The Four Paws Magic Pet Hair Remover (sponge) is a must!
The seatbelt/harness is great! You can walk them and feel secure that they aren't gonna slip out of a collar and they don't try to sit in your lap while your driving. (But we have since bought the xterra and had a dog cage installed, so thats no longer a problem!)
Brewers Yeast multi- vitamins, bananas, his "hoodie" sweatshirt
and Store-N-Feed Adjustable Feeder (ergonomically correct and stores dry dog food!) and self waterer (if he had just a bowl I would be filling it up 3 times a day!)
and of course......Lots of Balls!!!!! the bigger the better!
Great survey!
