What "Other Pets" do you have?

I have:
Katie - 4 yr old fawn boxer
Max - < 1yr old Blue parakeet (male)
Ed - < 1yr old Blue parakeet (better be male!)
Mo (aka Holey Moley) - 2 yr old rescue cat, who crossed over the bridge after only spending 3 mo's with us. :( but my 4yr old neice said that our late granny was wanting a cat and so she asked for Mo, apparently granny told her about this. :eek:


Katie has 2 betta fish that are about 1 yr old, but she hasnt told me their names yet, so i just call them:
That fish and that other fish
Mo had a betta fish too, but insisted on playing soccer with it, so it didnt really live all that long :(

I have:

Tori - 2yr old red/white female boxer

Tank full of fish which consists of: 1 black bubble eye, 2 clown roach, 4 red eyed tetra, 3 black widow, 5 danios, 2 dalmation mollies, 2 guppies and a algae eater (he helps to keep the tank clean).

The kids have two rabbits named Snowy and Marble. Its me who looks after them now since my offspring seem to have more important things going on in their lifes, like boyfriends, nite clubbing and socialising when and wherever possible.

im still very new to this site,
What other kinds of pets does everyone own apart from a Boxer??

I own 2 Boxers (Cid & Bevelle)
6 ferrets, which get on very very well with my Dogs
1 Rainbow Lorikeet
1 hand raised cockatiel
10 Budgies and 1 breeding pair of cockatiels
Also tropical fish

Although we have so many animals they all get along soo well, Where like one big happy family!

Anyone welcome to post back with your replys
i'd like to get in touch with other people that owwn both ferrets & boxers

I want a zoo!!

My family always had a lot of pets when I was growing up. I've had just about everything. (The coolest was my duck, Lucky.) But now I'm in college.
At my parents' house we have:

A shih tzu, Nala
A chocolate lab, Cocoa
A mixed cat we rescued from a dumpster :(, Lily
A lovebird, Roxy
And of course... My wonderful boy, Zehen (13 mos.)

Right now I'm in an apartment with 2 roommates, so Zehen lives at home with mom and dad and gets a big backyard and playmates that I couldn't give him otherwise.
But in 2 years I'll be moving into a permanent home and I will be out of college. I'm already looking into a playmate for Zehen. (And a lovemate for me. ) I'm looking for any and all suggestions. Of course I'm considering another boxer. (I can't imagine loving another dog more!) But I'm really looking into a smaller breed that would be tough enough to handle play with my boy! haha. Salvador and Angel - 2 2 year old leopard geckos, Mr Fisher - 5 year Old Oscar fish (comitted suicide) One 1 year old Red Eared Slider (turtle) (Sort of mine _ Christy. 1 1/2 year old reverse Brindle female boxer Mikey _ 1 year old fawn Boxer...... and each of them has a BIG piece of my heart knowing each of them and their personalitys has made me a better person and i LOVE them all some are just more cuddleable than others

Introducing my family..

Well there is me Colly and my hubby Chris, but apart from us we have:
Tyson - 5 year old flashy mahogany brindle boy, rescued from Humane Society Aug 27, 2003

Sable - 3 year old golden brindle girl, rescued July 1st 2004 from a Toronto based rescue group

Al/Alice - budgie Chris found him?/her? (we dont know) in his back yard so he adopted him/her

Connor - Nanday Conure (small green parrot) (loudest creature ever!!!) Chris has had him for 8 years or so.

Thats the gang.. and we are thinking of fostering but we havent decided.. we are going to wait a little bit yet.
