Normally Charlie is a dry mouth dog, a bit too dry actually, I have to wipe his jaw a lot or he gets bumps. But, this weekend when I woke up the man was having a caniption about how Charlie was a walking pile of drips for a totally unknown reason. Sure enough, my couch was soaked in the place he'd been napping and the wood floors had old drip marks. And the man was saying to Charlie after an hour or so are you sure you are okay? do we need to go to the vet boy? And I thought omg that'd be hillarious, emergency weekend vet trip, nature of your visit.....our boxer is drooling, oh we'd be on some vet blog somewhere. It took me a bit to really wake up and come up with a fix, which was giving Charlie dental floss to tug with (he loves flossing!) and brushing his teeth and sure enough drool stopped. All I can figure is he had something super yummy for breakfast and it stuck in his teeth. For an hour or so though, we so had a drooling boxer and what looked like no reason. Man they can be cute without trying.....god love em!

Right now, Killian is drooling over the apples and peanut butter I am eating. :) I gave him some apple and have already wiped his mouth but he is slobbering a bit cuz he wants more... :)

Mugsy drools over pretty much any food -even if he's not getting it. He starts with small bubbles that get bigger and eventually pop and lead to the shoe strings that will hang out of his mouth. We literally have to bring paper towels with us everywhere - esepcially when we visit with family and friends. At his yearly vet appointment, the Vet said he had the biggest jowls she had ever seen. I'm hoping that was an exaggeration. His jowls aren't that big.
