The first thing I do in the morning is find Bailey to give him a hug. He's still sleepy, I hug and kiss him, then he stretches on his back waiting for a morning tummy rub and his jowls drop open. I could just squeeze the life out of him at this moment.

Dislike? his incessant barking (I don't know why - none of our other boxers did that) and his whining to go for a walk before I'm ready.

1. When he snuggles up to me on the couch or bed, getting as close as he can, and does the contented *boxer sigh* then goes to sleep . I can feel the love. lovicon
2. When he looks at me with those "Aren't you taking me with you mommy?" eyes that break my heart. Then he runs upstairs and stares at me with his face pressed against the window while I back down the driveway. It is the saddest look in the world. :(

1. I love how excited Kaylie gets when I come home, even when I'm gone just a second.

2. She barks so loud when she wants something!

1. His kidney bean dance always and he always would lay on the bathroom rug and wait for me to get out of the shower.

2. That annoying grunt when he wanted something and I couldn't figure out what it was..after I offered him everything!

I miss him! He went to the bridge two months ago today!

her quest for catching those flies and bounding around the house regardless of who or what may be in the way.

Makes me smile: When we're finished our daily play session with the neighbor dogs and I tell Minnie it's time to go home. She runs full sprint across the neighbors yard, across our front yard and around the house. Sometimes she'll make two or three laps around the house at full throttle! Then on the last lap she charges up the front walk, slams on the brakes, and bumps gently into the front door. She sits there panting until I get to the door so we can go inside.

Makes me frown: When Minnie nudges/licks/paws at my hand while I'm playing guitar, or when she insists on getting in between my wife and I whenever we show a little affection toward one another.

I have to add another one. Yesterday Ruby made me smile when she was walking around the house with her balloon in her mouth, waiting for someone to play with her. She just kept walking around in circles around the living room, kitchen, hall. It was soooo funny, the look on her face was priceless.

What makes me frown is when she's so insistent that she get something. She starts with a woo woo, then it builds into loud barking. Sometimes we can't figure out what she wants and it's frustrating.

I have to add another as well. It makes me laugh when Bailey plays with his bone by himself. He'll run around with it, toss it in the air and, when it lands, stand there and look at it. Then he attacks it with his front paws, like it'll bite him back or something. It's a riot.

And...when he's slumped on the couch looking out the window. He actually looks like an old man - sort of sitting in a slouch position - belly showing, with his front paws slung over the arm of the couch. Then you look at him and laugh and he's got this look on his face that says "what? what's so funny?".
