what kind of shampoo do you use?

Sorry, I am not sure where to post this question so I am posting here...I bought Hartz oatmeal shampoo for our new boxer and am now wondering if I cheaped out (haven't used it yet). Does anyone have some recommendations? Dos and don'ts? Thanks so much

I use the Earthbath shampoo (oatmeal and aloe). If you go to www.earthbath.com you can see their products. It works great for Ty and smells nice, too.

I use Gerber Grins and Giggles Oatmeal on Austin. If it's good enough for my skin kids it's good enough for my fur kid!

The Hartz stuff is not the best IMO, tried it a long time ago and it was a bit too runny and didn't lather well, then still felt like it would not rinse out. Who knows, they may have improved the formula since I last used it?? I use Four Paws Oatmeal Shampoo. It is in a tan bottle with a BOXER on it! Great smell, lathers very well and rinses clean and leaves Killian's coat looking great! People shampoo is not a good idea of course, as it is PH balanced for people and not doggies and can mess up their skin...

I found a shampoo at Petco that we really like, it's called Crazy Pet Baby Dog shampoo. It smells really great and that smell lasts a while. Also it is the only one we have found that does not dry Rufus' skin out

not too fond of the Hartz myself...Gracie has a nice Oatmeal & Baking Soda shampoo that leaves her smelling fresh and clean (not perfumy) and soft as silk! It is called "Fresh N' Clean" and is made by Lambert Kay. It also has aloe vera in it. www.lambertkay.com

I just use a mild shampoo coz Rogue is still young, however yesterday as she was in the bath, we suddenly realised that we had run out, so she had to have kids shampoo on her instead. She smells really sweet today. I'm just hoping it doesn't irritate her.

used to use Bob Martins shampoo, but we now stick to Johnsons Baby shampoo, it is very gentle and mild, and never had any probs! Plus alot cheeper than dog made shampoo's!
