Thought I join in too :)
Zach's AKC name is Glendale's Officer Zachary J and he is named after my favorite movie and actor, Officer and a Gentleman with Richard Gere. The Character Richard Gere played was named Zachary Mayo.
But most of the time I call Zach, "goose" because he is such a silly goose :D that of course is in the privacy of our own house -- wouldn't want to embarrass Zach ;) in front of his friends.

My boxer's name is Zoe. It's not after anyone in particular, I just really liked the name, but didn't want to name my daughter that. :) What surprises me is that she knows the difference between no and Zo, which I often call her for short. Jessica

Our Boxer was born with a scar on her head so we named her Scarlet. My husband wanted to name her Crack Head but we didnt want to draw too much attention when calling her. (heehee)

P.S. Im thinking we should have named her "Walk" or "Treat" since she comes alot faster when we say that.

my boxer's name is astro. my girlfriend and i spent the two weeks waiting for our puppy deciding on what to name him...she even bought a book on pet names. we decided on astro because i didn't know any other dog with that name. she didn't like it at first but after two years...the name fits. most people laugh when i tell them my dogs name.
