What Is Your Boxers Biggest Flaw?

Bosco does that same thing (spitting a couple of pieces out after each bite). But my other dog loves it because he is on a different kind of food and after Bosco gets done he comes over and eats his leftovers.

Leena spits her food out too only she will take a mouthfull and only eat a couple of the pieces and spit the rest out. I think she likes eating it off the floor.

Nala - escape artist -- any fence, any size

Meta - hole digger - but only for cooling off, not for escaping

Rigo - (the thing that also makes me grin with pride) -- Mamma's boy - in my lap at the first sign of danger (like getting disciplined by dad).

Mine - leaving shoes in the living room for Meta's and Rigo's chewing pleasure.

His - leaving caps in the living room for Meta's and Rigo's chewing pleasure.

what a great topic!!!! I just LOVED reading the other posts.

Pharaoh's biggest flaw would have to be his attitude towards other large dogs. This is the biggest wimp lap baby that LOVES children, but if another large dog gets near him he'll act as if he's gonna be nice and then turn into a little .

We don't have this problem with little dogs, people, cats..just big 'uns.

He also has this imbeded desire to have to lick something after he drinks. It doesn't matter WHAT it is, just as long as he can lick it. The couch , recliner, bed, us....whatever....MUST....LICK.:rolleyes:

Its all over our living room floor.....we are constantly sweeping the floor....and it hurts when you step on it in the middle of the night!!

Baxter's biggest flaw is "counter surfing" more importantly my SUGAR BOWL!
No matter where it is he will get it and eat it!. I am convinced he pulls over a chair and stands in the chair to get to it.
He has broken 2 sugar bowls, I have resorted to the "Glad Ware" containers (they dont break) but thats a challenge in itself since he has to try and get the lid off to get to the sugar....
If I had a full roasted chicken and a suger bowl in the center of the floor, I am sure he'd go for the sugar bowl first...

Last night he found a "glad ware" container.. nothing in it as I had just pulled it from the dishwasher.. I must have forgotten to put it away after KP. Well he flopped it right in my lap, of course slobbber and all.. "See mommie, I'm a good boy.. I got the lid off"


Bella's flaws are not nearly as noticeable. She's the perfect lady.. not a hair out of place.. She likes to get my hairbrush from the bathroom and bring it to me.. as if to say "brush me, brush me"
I'm afraid she'll chew it up, so I've gone to putting it in a drawer and leaving her brush out, so she gets her own..

Both my girls have the same flaw. They have a daddy who spoils them totally rotten !!!

I will try to narrow this down to one flaw per boxer! Indy's biggest flaw is he doesn't eat like a normal dog - he's more of a buffet eater WHEN he eats. He likes variety. Eating is just a struggle with him. The only thing he really loves is liver - yuk.

Beauty's biggest flaw is she has major food issues! She eats when she gets nervous, she would eat constantly if she could. If she gets excited she will go to the kibble pan and lay down and just scarf until it's gone (that is if no one catches her!) We leave Nutro dry down for Indy in hopes he will graze...

Food is our biggest problem with the boxers!!!

Zeus is notorius(sp) for digging up the planter in the living roon to hide the bread he "stole" from the kichen counter. Zeus also has a thing for the phone, so far we've only had to replace a cell phone though.
