What is the weight for a 6 months old puppy?

Growing Period....

Gordon is 44 lbs now at her 6.5 months....
The vet said that he is a bit under size for a boxer at 6.5 months...:(
No idea why...since I think I do give him enough food.

Can that be not enough excercise??

May I know when is the period for boxer to grow? The vet told me they will stop at 6th months. But some told me 8th moths. After that, it will be very slow growing. Is there still any hope for Gordon?

I'm sorry to say, but your vet obviously doesn't know too much about boxers. They do not stop growing up until 18 months and growing out (filling out) until 2 years old!! Needless to say, your boy has alot more growing to do!! 44 pounds is not at all small for a 6 month old. Bella is fixing to make 7 months and she is 44.5 No need to worry, sounds like your boy is right on track!! :)

I do believe that it was vinkuan that started this thread. In order to have your questions answered, you should post your own thread in the appropriate forum, rather than taking over someone else's. If you are that concerned about the weight of your puppy, perhaps you should contact your vet. ;)
