What is a "Boxer burn"?

Can you tell me what a boxer burn is. Madison is doing about 15-20 360 degree circles in the living room before finally laying down for a nap... Are these burns?

Boxer burns are when they suddenly take off like their butts are on fire.....running like crazy back and forth.
My son's boxer Ty does the 360 degree turn everytime he ready to lay down. 3 complete circles everytime. I'm not sure if that behavior has a name but we used to have a lab that did it too.

She does them so fast she gets dizzy and them seems tostagger to the side and do some more... It is quite hysterical to watch. Never a dull moment with her around!

Lennox has started really getting into those in the past week. and boy can he run!

Charlie Paper does the cirlcle thing too before he lays down. He hasn't done it a lot here while we're staying with my parents, but I figure since there's the other doggies, he knows that once he's found a quiet soft spot, he has to claim it or someone else will. As for the boxer burn...Charlie will do that too. It cracks me up, and his little explosions turn into him running laps around the backyard. That little guy can run too!

Unfortunately, we haven't had a Boxer Burn in awhile. Usually we can get her to do it by having her chase us up and down the hall between bedrooms. A couple of weeks ago, my step-daughter, wanting Roxy to burn (she wanted to show her friend) ran down the hall, Roxy chased her, and my daughter ran right into the door and broke her foot!

While I obviously feel bad for her, that story had me laughing out loud

Cami always has an after "poo" boxer burn....we always tease and say that she is happy that all her parts are fully functional! (and that she must feel better!!!)

The burns in the backyard are funny as we have an enclosed car trailer on the side on the driveway and she will run as fast as she can towards it, slide on her belly under it, (hitting her noggin occasionally) and out the other side she comes. She literally has a speedway track in the yard where she has worn out the grass.

The burns in the house are hilarious, she does the same route each and everytime. There is a better route available which would provide more room for her but she likes the one she has chosen. All of the bedding on our bed ends up on the floor. As soon as she starts, (and you can tell by that special look in her eyes), I put my feet up on the couch, hubby puts the foot area of the recliner down and the cat gets up on her tree house and we all just watch and laugh! I think the cat wonders if Cami has gone insane....

First time Buster did the "boxer burn" I thought he had got stung by a bee....ha,ha!!! He always does the burning when he is really, really tired and directly after he just collapses on his bed.
