Scout acts like a little kid when we pick up her toys. My son was picking up the living room the other day and putting Scout's toys in her bucket. She would stand at the bucket just dying to get them all back out. We would tell her no and she would look at us and then look at the bucket. You could tell she was just waiting for us to leave so she could get them all back out again. She does this every time we pick up her toys.

Another funny thing, she was in the backyard one day and we heard her barking up a storm. This is unusual for her, so we went out to see what was going on. There was a hot air balloon several miles away but she could see it. It really freaked her out. We made her come in the house and she ran around the living room looking up, looking for the balloon. She would sit down and then just start looking up again. It took her awhile to realize it did not follow her in. Obviously, this is not a common experience, but a funny story anyway.

whenever i have my leg hanging off the couch but my foot isnt touching the floor, zoey backs up her butt on my foot and expects me to scratch the back of her thighs with my foot... shes always doing this! My bfs aunt's boxer sits on you! while you can be sitting on the couch.. he will sit on your legs somehow and expect u to scratch his sides or pet him. and now zoey is starting to pick up this habit as well..

Punchinella does this! It is so funny to watch. She'll hike her leg up and over to straddle your legs expecting you to rub her tummy/sides/butt. She did this once to my unsuspecting MIL; the look on her face was priceless. MIL thought she was trying to pee on her. :o

Indy loves to watch planes fly over. He only barks at my husband or me when we are playing with him. He never goes to the door when we have a delivery or guest.

Nylah does many of the things mentioned earlier. She does the pooting thing and looks at you as if you did it. When you are under the blanket and she is on the bed and you touch her with a hand or foot while under the blanket she jumps off the bed like the world has come to an end. When I'm in the shower she will bust in the bathroom and stick her head in lapping at the water...but if you reach down to to pull her in she high tails it. With her toys no one else can touch them...except her. If you pick them up from off the floor she purposedly stops what she's doing and dumps the toy bucket over and scatters them again before resuming what she was doing previously. Then of course she purposedly pushes them under the sofa and begins whining when she no longer can get to them forcing you to come to her rescue. When I tell her to go in her crate she looks at me like "yeah right" and goes under the bed...her litter mater Davinici does the same. Lastly but definetely not least, when Nylah is extremely tired and lying in the bed and I want to watch tv or talk on the phone she gets up, glares at me as if I'm making too much noise and huffs while leaving the room to sleep on the couch.

Ill give one for each:
Addie- throws a fit if you throw a toy away. The toy can be destroyed and if she sees you but it into the trash she will be one naughty dog!!! She burns around the house and talks about it...not to mention tries to get it out of the trash.
Clay- as you know "bunny hops" it is the oddest thing, hes just started doing the past few weeks. Every day at lunch when I let them out Ill tell him "Kennel" and he does this hop to his kennel. Yes they both kidney bean and burn but bunny hop is new.

Rocky refuses to walk on wood floors. He'll walk on tile or carpet but not wood. If he accidently gets on the floor (excited to see someone),, as soon as he realizes it, he stands there and shakes. Then, he'll begin to walk backwards off the floor. Cracks my mother up..she is over 80, had dogs all her life and has never seen a dog walk backwards.

Well i don't think this qualifies as strange but i wanted to add my .02 nevertheless! My dog is 10mo old(Cash)......anyways the other night I pulled into the garage getting home from work. Well when you enter the the house from me garage you can look directly through the kitchen down to the end of the hsll where the master bedroom is. Well this paticualr night i enter the house through the garage and all the lights are off and i can hear the shower is running, my GF is taking a shower.....as i start through the kitchen I hear cash start growling......it's dark but I can see him down at the end of the hall just sitting in from of the bedroom door growling but he obviosuly can't tell who i am.......then he bolts right at me, running down the hall, I try and talk so he can hear my voice but he must have been in protection mode because he paid no attention to me until he was almost right on me then it must of clicked because his barks and growls tunred to a wagging tail and licks!.....it's a good feeling to know he's looking out for my lady when i'm not home.......
