Koda will flip his bowl when he is still hungry or just because....he cracks me up. There are times, if I don't pick up his bowl shortly after he is done eating, he will flip it and flip it and flip. Then if I am busy doing something, he decides he is going to carry his bowl to where ever I am at and flip it some more. wackicon

The other day, he ate then decided to flip his bowl a few times. We were watching a movie so I didn't get right up and take his bowl away. I knew he wasn't hungry because I actually had given them extra that night. He brings his bowl into the living room, lays down on his bed, and begins to lick the inside of his bowl like he is trying to get every last bit of food possible. My husband and I died laughing.

They can be soooo dramatic sometimes!

Lol...My 5yr old pitt does the same thing. If i dont take the bowl away when hes done he will keep flipping it all day.

Ok, I think I can confirm that Lily flips the bowl to hide it or save it for later. Last night, Buster kept sniffing at her bowl and she wasn't ready to eat it...............but GOD FORBID Buster should get any of it!

Soooooo, instead of flipping her bowl this time (Buster will nibble on the bits that are NOT sufficiently hidden)..............she pushed her bowl 5 ft until it was under the living room chair where Buster can't get it. How Lily was going to later, is questionable, but I'm sure she didn't think of THAT at the time. She layed herself beside that chair then and wouldn't let Buster near it.

An hour later came the whines..............she was laying down with her head under that chair, stretching her tongue as far as it would go..........only to be able to narily lick the edge of the bowl. Then one look and a very sad woo-woo and Mommy rescued the bowl from under that chair and with a few kisses and a spinning-wiggle........she bellied up and finished her dinner.
