What does he need?

:confused: I have rescued a pup whom we have named Kracker. He is up for adoption on the adoption forum. I was wondering if anyone could help me in what kind of home he should go to.
I hope I am posting in the right forum.
Kracker does not like to be left alone. He is fine when left with another dog but when completely alone he is very upset. He seems to enjoy being around other dogs.
The only problem with this is he was starved and neglected and he is food aggressive. He has snapped at my Kali as well as growled and bared his teeth. He has never been vicious to her but he has given her some pretty strong warnings.
He seems to enjoy other dogs so much when it doesn't involve food that I would really like to see him placed in a home with other dogs. Do you think this is adviseable considering his food aggression?

They might be able to give you some assistance, or advice. As far as the food aggression goes, you need someone who can help you help him. It's a wonderful thing you did in rescuing him, and I'm sure you would want to know and understand the challanges that come with rehabilitation and placement - the other half of the battle. Good Luck
