Mandy, didn't you know that all boxers are born with selective hearing? Unfortunately, they don't all seem to grow out of it when we want them to. smashicon

Not all boxers, Cooper does, but I just say Casey has a head full of rocks! Poor little guy, don't think he has a brain!

What about that nasty slurping sound they do when they are cleaning themselves???

Tyra saves that one for those guests who don't care for dogs to begin with.

Hair

Having a white boxer I've learned not to wear black around her. She definitely sheds and the hair does stick into everything... everybody that comes over and wears black are in trouble..... she's like a magnet to their clothes

My collie has this habit of sitting in front of me giving me the I want something stare down and the whole time he's panting. God bless sometimes that dog has breath that would knock over a horse! The snoring doesn't bother us a bit though, it just fits right in with everyone else:)) And the gas, nobody beats my husband in that category!

What do you hate most about boxers

Hate....mmmm.....That would be, after Butler gets a really really long drink of water, walks over to where ever I may be, proceeds to shake his head!!! Get the wet picture? Got to luv em!

I would definately say snoring. I have started taking Tyson to doggy school and he seems to get pretty bored very easily. One day we were all sitting around talking and we had to make our dogs relaxed by just patting them and talking to them.
Next thing, everyone looks around and there is Tyson fast asleep snoring as loud as possible. It was so embarrassing!

It's definitely the attitude. Our Nala will bark and nipped if we miss the cue that she wants to go out or needs water. Which is really quite okay, at least she would tell us. I was just hoping that she would telll us in a nicer way. :)

Also the selective hearing especially when she enjoys what she is doing. :p

Oh well, just small sacrifices for the joy they bring!

No matter what my Boxer does to be annoying, all he has to do is look at me with those big brown eyes and I crumble.
