just curious what everyone does with there dogs, i know me i go home let them out of there crates and if the weather is nice we play out side if not we play inside or if its a rainy day and im lazy its funny cause they are lazy to, but i know a lot of people that were all excited to get dogs then they get to the point they don't do anythihng but feed them and let them out. and try to ignore them and don't spend any time with the dogs. so im cuious what you do with your dogs how you spend time with them, i wanna make sure i don't run out of things to do.

thanks

Vegas goes to work with DH. He still needs his play time though. Then they get home if its nice out they play ball hockey in the driveway. We need to balls for Vegas cause he's really good and its hard to get the ball away from him.

If its raining we play with the mini hockey sticks and his ball inside. We also play catch and fetch with his babies or whatever the toy of the day is. But get a orange hockey ball out and attention is all yours.

We have to keep him excercised enough or he goes stir crazy after a while.

Well how about going on some walks. I dont know if you have woods or land that you can go on and let your dog run but we take Darby out to the farm alot to run and play. Car rides...Darby loves them (even if she does not get to go into a store she still likes going with). A dog friend to play with. Not saying you get another dog but a friend that might also have a dog that your baby can play with. Of course there is always toys, toys, toys :)

Chancey stays outside in her yard every weekday. When I get home she's usually lounging but when I go get her she's standing there stalking my approach and then grabs a toy to play keep a way for a few minutes. We go in and she eats, then we go back out later for a long walk and a few minutes of jumping the agility jumps. Right before sleepy time I'm in the floor playing with her squeakies-sometimes she plays too.....we both exchange kisses and cuddles before she gets on her couch and I get in my chair for pre-bedtime naps.LOL...weekends we've started going hiking at the park for a few hours.

We often take them hiking with us at a state park minutes from our home, or to the villiage park that has a scenic walk around a large pond. When it rains and they need to burn off a little energy, we take them to Petco where each picks out a new toy. With four at home, plus the two basset hounds next door that are always here, every day in the yard is like a day at the dog park. ~ Cathy

Unfortunately this is the case with the folks across the street from me. They tie their furbaby (not a boxer) outside and ignore her; they walk right by and don't even acknowledge her.

We on the other hand are very active with our dogs. Our yard affords us lots of room to play and run. At least twice a day (more on the weekends) and we play alot with them in the house. We love our babies!!

At the moment they are all so busy playing I don't see that much of them! Ruby and I still go for a walk every day though :)

OMG!

First I can't wait to come home from work or school to see our two! I love spending time with them. We go in the yard and play catch with one of their millions of toys. I watch them "box" in the backyard. Or we watch Leila play in her pool sometimes I stand in it with her. We also watch Leila dig in her pit since we just built it for her this weekend. They both love to run and play at the local dogpark. They go to softball games to watch Papa every Thursday night as he plays on two different teams. We also all go on family walks around the neighborhood or go visit their Grandparents and other fur cousins. We always play with them. No matter how tired we are from work they keep us entertained and love us so much. My favorite thing is to try and teach them things or bring them new toys home. We also all love to snuggle up on the counch and listen to Papa play his guitar. There are so many things. I am not sure we could ever get tired of them. They are so spoiled but so are we for being owned by Boxers! :D

I only have 1 boxer so its constant attention with him or he gets bored, we take him and his friend Lenny the local park in the morning and woods in the late afternoon, at home I leave the back door open so he is free to go in and out as he pleases, we do a lot of chores together too, like if I peg the washing out he brings it in (although it has only been on the line for like a minute!), he enjoys gardening, (I plant the flowers he digs them up again!), and he also takes the rubbish out (out of the bin and scatters it round the garden!), but in the evening when it is nice and quiet and we're both tired we just cuddle up on the sofa watching TV.
