Oh My! To remember all the memories!! Here goes:
An entire semester of kids school supplies, complete with glue sticks, pencils (a fav around here) notebooks, markers and construction paper books.
Laundry sheet, q-tips, toothbrushes, socks, an entire hard back book, numerous playstation 2 accessories...headsets, games and cords,
3 cell phones, 2 remotes, wine tool, too many shoes to even count, underwear, pillows, 3 couch cushions (had to throw that one out), crayons, markers, liquid pens(looked like someone had been murdered in my living room and then drug downstairs to my bedroom), toilet paper including the roll, diapers, towels, barbies, race car track, entire loaf of bread (whole grain...that was bad for days!!)
I am sure i can come up with more, but i am feeling like a bad mommy....you cannot leave them alone for a minute or disaster is pending!! Over the years i have learned they can FIND anything and sneak away in a second!!
Little stinkers....lucky for me....they have never gotten sick!
I must say...i feel lucky in comparison to the door/car victims.....that might be the only 'race i am winning!"

Abbey

abbey's mom

I think this is the funniest thread I have ever read. I have laughed so hard I am still crying. lol lol
Abbey has also chew up her share of strange stuff. Ingested a few things as well. She likes to chew all the corners off the deck and has a strange fasination with my daughters Barbie dolls. I think we have the largest parapeligic collection of barbie. We have tried leaving her out of her crate for an hour or so at a time but she always manages to find something in the garbage and shred it all over the house.
In the space of one week she stole a whole package of buns and a completed package of balogna. All that was left was the plastic from both. Next was 1/2 a ham, 1/2 an apple pie, a whole homemade pizza ( and this happens 2 out of 4 times we make pizza) and a couch cushion.
We have also had to buy a garbage can that is Abbey proof because she loves used feminin products (discoved this when it appeared in the backyard looking the same way as it did when it went in) . Ewwwww.... what is it with dogs and used bathroom stuff whether it be diapers to pads to cat crap? Then they want to give you kisses after.........
Thank god they are so lovable.

Ronin1

Boxer Insane
Ronin has yet to destroy anything inside. Outside however, is a different matter. When he's outside and gets really bored - he'll break a branch off of a plant or tree, and then prance around the yard like it's a trophy. I used to have a boxer named Rusty who had this obsession with anything round. One year, I came home from work and found about four of those round "glass" Christmas ornaments broken all over our bed. He was okay fortunately, but that was a huge Vet bill waiting to happen, so no more round things on the tree (or in the house :) )!

Beausolei

Boxer Booster
Beau has chewd a toliet seat, 2 window Moldings, 2 pairs of shoes and a pair of boots from Dillards my wife had got not long before he joined us on 6-12-01. He wouldn't have the ones from Payless, I guess they were'nt classy enough for him. Even Boxer babies have to be in style, and don't want to settle for cheap imitations. Kind of gross but he chewed out the crotch on a few pairs of my dirty jeans also. Someone told me that was all about wanting things with my scent. I would have much rathered he just come see me for a cuddle, for the obvious economic reason, but also to eliminate the disgusting factor. All that has fortunately stopped as that took place in his first 9 months, and to date at 3.5 years of age he is a very well disciplined boy as far as destruction goes.

Wow! I can't believe how destructive some of your babies are!! If ginger did any of that I don't know what I'd do... hopefully i'll never have to find out!!!

Not long after I adopted Shelby I had a bake sale to benifit the foster children's christmas party at work. I made blonie's and they were cooling when a friend from across the street called and needed something. I left for less than 5 min. with the blondie's cooling on the back of the stove and came back to 1/2 a batch of blondies and a mess on the kitchen floor. I then paniced bacause there was chocolate in the blondie's but called the vet and they said it was not enough to hurt her.
Another day, I decided to not kennel her and see how she did for an hour or so. I left her in my bedroom. I came home and opened the bedroom door and found Shelby laying in a pile of fluff. She had shredded all of my pillows.
She has been staying out of her kennel now and I have been sick the last few days. I mad a mistake and left a box of tissues on the table in the living room and came home to tissues all over the floor.
I guess I have been lucky, she has not ever really destroyed anything of real value, but she just loves to pull stuffing out of anything, I think she thinks that is her job. If there is stuffing, I have to get it out!

Fun fun fun

Where do I start...I would say the worse thing Benny did was chew the wall and get to the plastic water line to the ice maker, it was summer and I guess he wanted a fountain in the family room. By the time we got home there was about an inch of water on the floor and he was sitting on the couch. There was also the couch, chair and ottoman, too many pillows to count. Lola on the other hand has a fancy for sheets, quilts and pillows. She is very good at taking off the pillow cases without ripping them.
I think Benny's best one was when my mom was staying with him and he stole her purse and took it out in the backyard and ran around with all of the contents flying out. The next day he thought he would take her bra out for a stroll.

Boxers ya gotta love um!

HollyThe Boxer

Boxer Buddy
This thread is SO funny! Our Holly, who is now at the bridge, was a terrible one for stealing food. Some of the many things she stole were a loaf of wholemeal bread, half a sticky toffee pudding, a whole nut roast, and a full packet of doggie treats! A few times, we left her in the car and forgot to take the shopping bags with us - oops! When she was younger, she had a chewing phase, and especially liked books and pens (the blue ink looked very fetching on her lips!)

Meggie is in a chewing phase right now, and has a special liking for anything made of fabric, which she takes into her crate to have a good chew on (my bras are a real favourite!) She has nearly destroyed a remote control, which we keep forgetting to hide from her, and she has fully destroyed a doggie duvet in less than half an hour (cover ripped, inner ripped, filling all over her crate!) I had just bought the duvet that day!!! Lucky I love her to bits - when you look at that face, you can forgive her anything!
