what age did you boxer start getting white brows and muzzle

grey hairs

Molly is 4 1/2 and has a black mask with definate grey areas, these started to appear 1 1/2 to 2 years ago. if you look at her website half the photos are very recent and the others were taken when she was about 2 years old - no grey at all - a real noticable difference. it happened so gradually that i didn't really notice, it was a family member who we visist infrequently that commented she was looking old. I don't feel this is anything to worry about. It obviously varies from boxer to boxer.

My Niko just turned 6 and her muzzle and her eyebrows are just turning gray. She is what they call a classic fawn. So her total black mask is like salt and pepper now

She also has a few gray hairs down her back, and a patch on her chest. She just started showing these grays after her surgery to remove her moles (1 cancerous, 1 not!), so we were thinking it was from all of that. Moles removed 8.14.01, turning gray 1.2002 .. hum ..

Casey has had a little grey on her muzzle for about two years now. Not much though. You can only see it when you are right on top of her.
