craZ4HERKIE
Boxer Insane
I took the boys out for a last pee at about 12am, and we walked to check the mail. All of a sudden Herkie refuses to go anywhere, so I rely on his instincts and check out my surroundings. Well, lo and behold, there's a man walking towards us...shuffling actually, with no shirt on. I try to head back towards the house, but H-dog was having none of it...he wouldn't move forward, backwards nothing! He was holding his ground...and was in his "stance" ..chest forward, ears forward..legs back...nub standing straight. I speak to the man, just because I feel that I should acknowledge his presence...and give him the idea that I'm not afraid. Then he speaks to me, and Herkie begins to bark at him (kuma was whimpering
) still standing his ground. Once the man passes us, Herkie finally will move. Needless to say, we didn't walk straight home, we took a roundabout route so he wouldn't see where we were going. All he was doing was checking his mail, I don't think he had any plans on bothering me, but Herkie was going to see to it that he didnt't appicon. It sure does suck, and is scary, being a single woman, walking her dogs at all hours of the night! And this too shall pass
) isn't it great that we have dogs that watch out for us :D
