What a gift

While visiting My folks this past weekend I noticed a beautiful boxer pup next door tied to the door handle of a car. I went over and played with him and gave him some water. When his owner came home we started talking and he said he felt really bad but he had gotten himself into a situation he couldn't handle. He works 10-12 hrs a day and just doesn't have the time for the pup. He asked me if I was interested in him when I said how much he told me he would give him to me as long as I would take good care of him, so now my family is the proud owner of a fawn, very energetic, and very well loved, 10 week old male named Rocky(thats the name he came with,we didnt want to confuse him by changing his name)

Wow you are lucky! I spent months looking for a boxer in CO and a friend of mine searched for one in Florida and he couldn't find one. He ended up getting a Great Dane instead. Have fun with your pup!

What a great gift. I know how you feel. We were just giving our 3rd boxer baby. We were told she was 7months old but she is really a year. Which is great with us no potty training. Enjoy your new baby.

Talk about a win, win situation! You are very lucky! I had a fawn boxer while I was growing up named Rocky.

I too recieved a wonderful gift about 6 weeks ago!! My boyfriend suprised with an adorable male fawn boxer (he has a black mask, a little bit of white on the end of his feet and white on his chest(thats my favorite part because it is soo soft) and and a little spot of white on his nose). Snoop has been a joy for me and my family. A true gift I must say. We had never had a house dog before so my mother was a little reluctant at first. My dad fell in love with him right a way (but who wouldn't!!) I used to be lonely sometimes cause I was always at home by myself but not anymore!!! He is a real treat to have. The first day we had him at my house he was "snoop"ing around and went into the bathroom and grabbbed the toilet paper and ran into the den with!! It was the funniest thing I had ever seen!! :D And you have to just laugh at them. We are still working on housebreaking him. He has gotten use to go to the door. Even if he does not do his business outside atleast he still gets the idea that if he goes to the door we open it for him. We also just got his ears clipped this past weekend. He hates having that big satellite collar on him but his ears look beautiful!! Anyways I just wanted to share with ya'll my stories!!!

toliet paper

My girl grabbed the toliet paper and ran into the den the first week also! She did it twice and I started turning it upside down.
I have the cutest pic of her with the toliet paper but I can figure out how to attach it to my message...darn!
