At this time of year, rescues are overflowing with homeless boxers, most unplanned because someone thought a spay or neuter wasn't so necessary. Thanks on behalf of all the boxers and glad to hear your gal's health is a priority!

Thanks everyone for your well wishes...

I brought Vic home at about 5:30 last night... they did her spay and heartworm tested her (negative, still, which I knew because she's on meds but they recomment HW test every 6 mos), 42.6 lbs (she's still just a tiny thing, but that is a gain of nearly 10 lbs that she NEEDED when we got her)

She slept most of the evening on the couch next to me (i put her up there and she didn't want to get down) and slept all night in her crate as normal although she whined early to be let out. No house accidents, no problems...she ate pretty well today and even played a little, but she's extremely calm still and getting lots and lots of extra lovin's....

I got her a new soup bone to help keep her quiet and it's done wonders. She would not touch it last night but has knawed on it most of the day today.

I'm so happy now to KNOW that there will not be any puppies... I LOVE puppies but there are already plenty out there. We don't need offspring from her (at all. LOL)

As we speak she's snuggled around my feet, laying quietly.
I'm so glad she did well and that everything is good. The vet said she's beautiful and we should be proud. But then he said "But I suppose you already know that" and I had to agree.

Glad Victoria is doing well....she'll be back to her normal self in no time ...and healthier in the long run..... Can't wait to see her again ...and your vet is right ...She is beautiful !!

Hi Guys,
Victoria here (hahaha mommy thinks I don't know how to use the computer but I watched her really close and boxerworld is on the top of her favorites list)

I'm feeling pretty good today... got out in the yard for a bit and when mommy let me in I went and did my normal burns around the house, leaving dirty footprints across the carpet and mommy's bedsheets (she loves it when I do that!)

Then I laid around for a while and chewed on my bone... and mommy went to the store. When mommy got home I made sure to come over and wigglebutt and then I whined a little so that she sat down and loved on me and forgot the ice cream on the counter. hahahaha She didn't bring ME any ice cream so why should she have any?

My stitches look pretty good but mommy doesn't want me to lick them so every time I start she gives me extra lovin's or a treat. hahahaHA! She's wrapped around my little finger!!

thanks for all your well wishes, my skin brother and sisters have been giving me lots of love and attention and last night daddy let me sleep on the bed for the first time.... :D

I'm feeling pretty frisky so I better slip off of the computer and go whine at the back door. Maybe I can go outside again for a while!!
