We're getting a new girl!!!

It's been a while since I've posted (been busy with the new house and all) but had to share my excitement with everyone! Next weekend, we're going down to Lawrence, KS to meet our new girl Cami! She's a rescue and we fell in love the second we saw her pic. We're going to head down, and of course take Apollo, to meet her and make sure the two are compatible. If so, we're taking her home and she's ours for sure! Cami is an 8 month old fawn girl with tons of energy from what we are told. We're so excited we can't take it! I feel the same way I did right before we originally went and got Apollo! I can't wait!!!!!!!!

Keeping fingers crossed here that all goes as well as expected with Apollo and Cami's first meeting! He'll be so glad to have a sister and companion.

We adopted Iris earlier this year. She came from the same place as Cami! They could even be related! She is a great companion to her brother, Bob. We've thoroughly enjoyed watching both kids blossom.

Congratulations on adopting Cami! I just adopted a 9 mo. old male from rescue! He is a ball of energy, especially when he comes out of his crate in the afternoon when I get home from work! Beau has livened up my life, and Samantha's, too!

He can wear me out in the evenings--he never runs out of energy! But he is fun to play with and to work with training.

I know you and your family will enjoy Cami, and so will Apollo!

Well guys, we got her on Sunday and what a sweetie!!! Her and Apollo get along perfectly and she is a spitting image of him (6 months younger). We are really looking forward to raising them together and being a "two boxer" household although our house probably isn't ready yet!
