Well it has been almost a week now and I am not sure about the new food, Wellness Super5 Mix Whitefish and Sweet Potato we started Tucker on. I have been adding 1 tbsp of pumpkin everyday to his food to help with his poop but I have yet to see any improvements. I was mixing his old Canidae in for a few days but stopped. Ever since they changed the formula everything has been so off. He seems to be itching more than ever and has so many eye boogers! So at this point I am not sure what to do. I really wanted to do Wellness Core but its really pricey and only one place in town sells it. Maybe I will just give in and try Core instead, I know it is a better food. It just kills me to see his belly so upset. Am I just being impatient? Has anyone else had good luck on the Super5 Mix?

I would pull him from all kibble and start him on boiled chicken and rice for 3-5 days and let his system calm down and THEN SLLLOOOWWWLLLY add the kibble back in over a 5-7 day period and see if you have any better luck. Going from one kibble that's giving him the runs to another kibble may just be too hard on his digestive tract so you may have better results if you give his stomach and colon time to settle down let the inflammation go away and then try again back on kibble.

Good luck.

Love love LOVE Wellness CORE. Hurricane is super sensitive and it is the ONLY food we have come across that he doesn't have diarreah, gas, vomiting, or other reactions.

We are Wellness Core users also, love the food. But, you really should give it more time. It could take up to a month for things to straighten out. I'd give it at least a month before deciding, if things aren't better by then, you could then go to the CORE. :)
