It is always exciting to bring a new baby home. As I have said before I am also looking for a breeder. My hubby told me just the other night "When I met you, I didn't think you would ever become crazy, but you have." I was like what? Then he said " Boxer Crazy!" Its all good though because he loves boxers just as much as I do. I do think he will but me off after we get our third boxer baby..:rolleyes: at least for awhile!

Thank you all for the encouragment. We are going to try to get one around April for a couple of reasons. 1 is the weather. It would be much easier to start pottie training the puppy in the spring, and that is far enough away for us to prepare, and find a breeder around us that is good. I live in Huntington WV, so I am not sure if there are any breeders around here. I have never had to deal with a breeder before, as we rescued Oscar from a bad home. I know there are BYB around here, and I definately don't want to go there. I am not above driving to get one, I am in easy driving distance of Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville, Lexington. I am excited as can be, and it is a ways off. Also my wifes Bday is in April, would make a great bday gift for her.

You will never laugh so hard

I finally talked hubby into boxer baby boy last February and I got to tell you- that was the best thing we could have done for our sense of humor and entertainment- not to mention double the boxer lovin'lovicon !!!!!!!!!!!
We added a baby boy Sarge to our SammyJo who was two at the time. She was such a Mamma and it really tamed her little behind down- and she has gotten some gray in her muzzle-LOL. My husband doesn't have to train, bathe, trim nails, walk or any of the hardwork although he does have the double bills two dogs can rack up. He wouldn't be owned by just one boxer at a time now. We feel like our first boxer really missed out now. It's a hoot, I'll tell ya!!!!!! Hope time flies for you. Love, Jewel

That's Great!!!
I wanted a girl so bad and my hubby didn't want another dog, but now he agrees with me and he loves Layla more than ever!!! She is a total Daddy's girl.
She has been nothing but good for Leonard. She mothers him, washes his face, etc.... It's sooooo cute!!!
