What a great story ....i am still laughing at the confused look he must have had when you started talking.....'you sound like my mom..but you don't look like her!"....I try to woo woo with my Telmar...(he does it ALL day long at virtually anything,,,i think its his way of talking!)...and he tilts his head to the side and wrinkles up his forehead even more...not sure if its a 'who are you or what the heck are you doing mom??"" They are very intuitive to any kinds of change!! I think i will have to test him on the 'blue face' now!!LOL

My guy has thing for those hats that have ear flaps. Its not defensive exactly, but he'll go nuts until I let him pull that hat off and shake it around a bit. Then he seems to feel much better.

Yeah, I remember when Busters Daddy put a box or something on his head(messing around) and Buster went crazy. The more we laughed the more upset he got. Lunging forward but shuffling back at the same time.

Yesterday I put my driving glasses on and Buster was absolutly in awe. He didnt go mad or anything but would not take his eyes off me.

Well we tried having the husband cover up and come in through the front door. The boxers took off behind mom and barked and the boston terrier bit my husband on his butt. So the protector so far in the family is the 27lb boston. The boxers were barking like crazy a safe distance behind mom. Kind of cute hopefully as they get older the protection will kick in. It is better than my sister's dog she said when her husband did the same thing the dog ran past her and was outta there. All babies still so in a few years they should be more protection.
