If it is not one thing, it is another. We have Shaq's Kidney Problem under control, I think. Since we switched his food and put him on a phosphate binder, he has recently (we noticed them last week) started to grow these bumps, they range in size from pencil eraser size to pencil lead size. They are dry, scaley, red and black in color (I can't tell if it is just his skin color in those areas) Weird thing is, they appear only on his joints: legs and arms. They seem to be getting bigger and dryer (almost white over the hair) I do not know if they are related to his food or the medicine we give him. Has anyone seem this on thier boxer? The bumps are in clusters on every joint that he has on his arms and legs. Any info is appreciated before I call the vet. I am there almost weekly, I am starting to feel like a crazy mama always rushing to the vet. THANKS!
