Boxer Pal
Hello everyone:
I have a question if anyone can help me?

I have a 1 1/2 boxer that has seem to lost some weight. It is pretty noticable. I have checked for worms and I even wormed him with the over the counter wormer, but nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas. I wanted to try to keep him out of the vet's office if I can. So expensive, but if I can't figure anything out, that is were he is going. I thought maybe a tape worm.

Any ideas????

Thanks in advance..

No he is not eating less. If you put anything in front of him, he is going to eat it. Now, our Akita and our 3 year old Boxer, has an automatic feeder so they eat whenever. But Rocky you can't do that, because he would eat until he is sick. So we feed him 2 cups a day, like I was told by the vet. I would go to say that my 3 year old eats less than Rocky does. He just started to lose this weight. Before about 1 week ago, he looked real good, and nothing in his enviroment has changed. I really don't understand it...
Please advise...

I'm sorry and I know its expensive but you HAVE to go to the vet. Loosing enough weight to be noticable in a week is not a good thing and can be a sign of a serious health issue. Please go, even if it is a tapeworm you will probably need meds to get rid of it. Your babies worth it!
