My friend just got a little puppy named Bosco. She got "papers" saying it was a boxer/mastiff mix. I kinda thought it looked like it was part pit. She said she was just at the vet and he thought it was part pit too. Out of curiosity, I just had to ask my fellow BW buddies what you all thought. I just posted his picture in my gallery. Thanks!

oh--the pics haven't been approved yet....

quick question--where did your friend get the pup? from a shelter, pet store, "breeder" ??? If it was a shelter, then I wouldn't be surprised if it had some pit bull in it and they just chose to "label" it as some other breed mix, that seems to be happening alot lately! anyhow--I will check back later to see if the pics are up! :)

he does kind of have a pit look about him but then again...maybe i can see mastiff.....
be interesting to hear what the rest have to say & where your friend did get him from??/

cute! cute! cute! I could see Mastiff mix..(I personally don't see boxer in that pup, maybe his ears but other than that..nope I don't see Boxer)..I can see lab in there..doesn't really look "pitish" to me. But I am no expert.

thats it donna your right. i know there was something funny and thats what it is. maybe hes a pit - mastiff mix? my sis has a staffie lab cross and he looks REALLY like she did as a pup

He's cute! I don't really see Mastiff or Pit in there.I would say a Boxer/Lab mix. His ears look like a boxer but that's it too me. I would expect him to look more like a Lab later IMO. :)

I thought thats what he kinda looks like. What a cutie! I see the pit in his cheeks/muzzle, but I'm no dog conformation expert! :LOL:
In any case, hes very cute!
