I'm so terribly sorry to hear about Lexi. :( My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I know how badly you feel.. But she is waiting for you at the rainbow bridge full of kidney beans just for you and your family. there isn't much that can be said that will lessen the pain you feel from losing lexi. hopefully some comfort comes from knowing you and your family are in the prayers of many right now...including mine. i have a 4 month old furbaby named jake which made this really touch home...the thought of losing him breaks my heart. my thoughts are with youlovicon

I'm so sorry to hear about Lexi, further I'm sorry that I wasn't even aware that she was sick. Take comfort in the fact that even though Lexi was here for just a short time, she knew love and she could not have asked for a more loving caring master and you had the priveledge of having a sweet corageous little girl.

My heart goes out to you and everyone in your family who has a heavy heart over Lexi's loss....I wish I knew all the right things to say....Time will heal and memories will help, keep her in your heart and she will be with you always...Try to take comfort in the fact that you have a sweet little boxer angel watching over you and Max.

Well from the thread Max is in Love, it looks as though time is starting to heal max's broken heart, although i'm sure noone will ever replace Lexi it looks as though Sumi has brought just the right bit of love and understanding to help you all heal from the loss of Lexi...

Wow. It was a surprise to see this thread on the top again. I just wanted to take this chance and thank everyone for their kindness and understanding. We still miss Lexi a lot, but we are slowly beginning to understand that she is in a better place and no longer in pain. Thank you again.

You did the right thing, she`s up there watchng down over you and feeling so good now. Its so sad because no matter how bad and sick they feel they still want to pls, unconditinal love. My depest sympaththies to you and yours.

Very sorry for your loss

I am very saddened by your loss. I lost mine yesterday to a tumour in the stomach, although at 7 and 1/2, he had a good life. I know what you are going thru, since it's so difficult to move forward. But I dont regret a thing, even the cancer. I dont care about the bloodline. And all we do know is we gave our wonderful companions all the love we had in exchange for theirs. And that we'll never regret.
