You may want to teach this *breeder* a lesson and get together with the gal that lost the female, and sue for the cost of the pup plus vet expenses. It may make them rethink breeding if it ends up costing them money.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I like that idea!!! Sock it to 'em. Don't just sue for your expenses though, sue for emotional damage. The pain and suffering that your family and poor Zeus had to experience because of someone's carelessness and greed is also worth something. And when you win, they have to pay your court costs as well as their own. I know it would be painful and you might not consider it to be worth it because it won't bring your beloved Zeus back BUT you just may prevent this from happening to someone else and for that Zeus would be proud!

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your puppy. I havent had to go through loosing one of my boxers yet, and I am dreading the day that I do.

The vet basically had no clue and did not know what it was. Well, finally at the age of 5 months, I demanded that they give him a skin scape to check for Demodotic Mange

I dont understand why you had to make the vet do a scraping? Surely he had some clue that your pup was having problems with the mange. Find a new vet, quick! I tend to stay away from this forum because I am real bad to read it and get upset. Again, I am very sorry for your loss.:(quote:
