We are back and did not get the news we were hoping for

We had to take her back to the vet yesterday. Her mouth was a very pale pink almost white. She is anemic. Said she has an ulcer. So we had to stop one of her meds and they gave her 3 new ones to help with the ulcer. She blacked out twice today and fell over and started peeing but the vet said she is so anemic that is normal and when we fix the ulcer she should stop doing that. We took our bed apart so she can still sleep with us. Her new bed came yesterday and it is amazing but that is great for her during the day but she wants to be with us at night. We ordered a harness that will be here Monday and have been using a towel and the 1st time we did that Roxy was so excited. Went outside and would not come in! We are going to start looking at wheelchairs for her too. The vet said yesterday that was the Pinkest white mouth anemic dog they have seen because most people are not so aware of the coloring.

Roxy isn't doing very good tonight. Her right leg is completely lame now and the left is about 75%. The right just drags along and she doesnt even try to move.it. She is throwing up and just sleeping all the time. She has blacked out twice and peed all over.

Poor girl and poor you , these are challenging times and the best you can do Right now is rise to the challenge ..
It's heartbreaking to see her like that but hopefully when you get the ulcer healed and anaemia sorted she will be much brtghter .. Hugs to you ... And healthy healing <<<vibes >>> to your girl !!!!

I an so sorry Roxy is getting no relief. Her symptoms and the quickness of her failing is so very similar to Autry. The harness should help some on taking her for a walk. It will allow you to steady her so that she will fall toward you. It is so sad to see your best friend fail, and really the medical personnel have no answers. Has her personality changed?

No her personality is the same loving girl. I think her legs are b/c she is not getting her pain meds right now. We aren't going to feed her at all today and hope the ulcer starts healing so we can give her something for her pain soon! She did good through the night and is just resting now. Still FULL of kisses for us and drinking water.

We have had a great day with her. She has been getting up on her own and going to get water. She has eaten a little and we have taken her outside and she takes off . Dh has a towel under her and she just takes off to my parents that live right next door. I went in the other room and heard her coming down the hall. Was a good sound.
