Watery Eye

My puppies right eye has been watery for a couple days now and the bottom eyelid is slightly puffed out. He occasionally rubs it with his paw. Any idea what this could be?

What a little cutie he is. I would get his eye checked out by your vet. It's possible that his eye is being irritated by his eyelashes and that would certainly make it water.

any update on your puppy's condition. my 1 year old just developed the same symptoms

We noticed that his eye was only watery after he had been playing outside and it seems to have improved over the past few weeks. We think it could have something to do with the springtime allergens, but we're going to mention it to the Vet when he goes for his next set of vaccinations in a few weeks.
