You are good GIRL!! I too have a very smart mouth when need be! Just today our neighbors asked us were both our kids boxers (which they are) and i replied 'yes'.....he turned around in no quiet voice and told his friends that Sasha (my white girl) was not a boxer...she was a pit...as there is no such thing as a white boxer!! I said 'excuse me....there are white boxers....if this is the first one you have ever seen, then consider yourself priveleged.....they have NO resemblance to pits, other than the color which you would know if you are at all educated about that breed!" Hubby just sat there and shook his head....HE would have been uglier than me if he had answered!!

As a native Okie and recent returnee to the land of stupid people, I can assure you, Sharon, it IS Oklahoma!! ;) These people are so ignorant I find myself screaming daily.

What's even sadder is that in Tulsa alone, they euthanized over 3,500 dogs last year. Up from 2,700 the prior year. That is just SICK!! And yet nearly every day some IPF (ingnorant pig farmer) comes up to me and says, "hey, wanna breed that white one? I gotta boxer boy at home. Yuk Yuk Yuk"

And you can't really reason with them because they know all about dawgs. Hell, they've had dawgs all their lives. And if you hit them with intelligence, their eyes gaze over and they look at you like you're from NEW YORK CITY or someplace horrible like that.

Believe me Sharon, your jaw would be on the floor if you ever came here and witnessed the incredible depth of ignorance in Oklahoma.

Now don't get me wrong, there are plenty of intelligent, wonderful people here and many, many good souls. There is no doubt about that. But the level of ignorance of sooo many here is just beyond anyone's capacity to believe sometimes.

So, I'll add my "YOU GO GIRL" too! Thanks for doing what I always want to do, but can't. My mouth gets me in a lot of trouble as well, but since I am male, it usually ends up with me getting the crap beat out of me, so I have learned that it is sometimes just better to keep walkin, baby, keep walkin. . . .
