Boxer Booster
I took Rachel to be spayed yesterday morning, around 3 p.m. my vet called and said that everything went wonderfully and that I could come and pick her up around 5p.m. about 20 minutes before I left the vets office called and said that Tanner was due for his boosters next month so tht I should bring him with me and then both of them would be due for vaccinations in March instead of March and April. I felt that this was a wonderful idea so off Tanner and I went. When we got there it seemed kinda busy and there was this man sitting there with a really hairy white dog (couldn't tell you what breed) when I walked in he said that my Tanner was beautiful and asked if I wanted to sell him.....I said "Absolutely not, do you have a child that you would like to sell?" He just gave me an odd look and I went about my business. About that time they brought called us back to the room for Tanners vaccinations (which he took like the big man that he is). After his vacc. I went to the front desk to pay for Rachels spay, vacc, and Tanners Vacc. after I paid the Tech said that she would go get Rachel. When she brought her out she was telling me about her post-op maintenance etc., etc. That idiot man had the stupidity to say " If I had two dogs like that there ain't no way I'd be getting them fixed, only an stupid idiot would do that...you could breed them and make your money back on em ten fold!!!!" Man I was MAD. I turned to him and told him to shut his inbreeding mouth up and that people like him make Oklahoma look like the stupid people capital of the world. I swear. I then proceeded to tell him that if had ever seen a pair of real balls in his life he should have recognized that Tanners was not there as I had him neutered 6 months ago for fear of testicular cancer (one of his balls didn't drop) and that Rachel would not be used as a breeding machine of any kind and that position was odviously taken by his "kin" and that they should have gotten better health screening before they went into that business themselves judging by his ignorance. You should have seen his jaw drop.....as I was walking out the vet tech said "you go girl" and I heard that guy say "bitch". I could not believe that idiot!!! It still makes me mad. I am usually not so high strung but I had just spent all day consumed with worry over Rachel's procedure and was just so relieved to see her that his words just hit me totally wrong. Sorry so long.
