WARTS on his HEAD!! PLEASE HELP!?!?!

I just adopted my boy Duke and we noticed that he had one good sized Wart on the top of his head, we asked if it was harmful but the man said no that it had always been there. Last night I noticed that he has another one coming up almost right beside it. I'm going to take him to the vet, but first I wanted to get an opinion from you all. I don't know if this is a common thing with Boxers or if it is something new. My fiance says that is will be ok, but as his new momma I'm worried about him. I've done some research and they aren't around his mouth area but on the top of his head. The one that is already there is a little smaller than a dime. If you have any information about this then it would be useful. If they aren't harmful than i won't take him to the vet but if someone thinks they are then I will take him to the vet immediately!

How old is Duke? I would definately have them looked at. Boxers are so notorious for skin issues, such as cancer (I don't want to scare you). My Roxy had a growth on the top of her head which was removed. It was just a fatty little tumor thing, but it did grow back and we had it removed again. It didn't come back a third time thank goodness. Things such as that should be checked out, and if you just adopted him he needs to have a thorough check-up anyway to make sure all is well with him. Duke is 2, and he came from someones house like raised but he couldn't keep him anymore cuz he had to move on buisness. Duke is always rubbing the top of his head against blankets or us. It's like they itch him. But thank you for your advice, you didn't scare me because its been going through my mind. So I will definately take him to the vet to get them checked out within the next week. I'm glad that we got him, he has been an added blessing to our lil family!
