wart looking things in their jowls?

Hey all,

Question for you, my four yr. old had a wart looking thing on the inside of his jowls for a couple of weeks that finally fell off, now my 2 yr. old has one on his jowls. I didn't bring them to the vet because my neighbors dog had them and the vet said it was no bid deal.

Is this something they're going to have forever now? And is there anything I can do to keep them from getting them again?

I just read your thread and if it's what I think it is, it's called Canine Papilloma. My Giguere had a big one on his tongue and the vet just gave me supplements to boost his immune system. After a week, it disappeared on its own. There's plenty of information on the internet about it if you're interested.
