I too researched the link to the local paper in Charlottesville. I t does seem like the whole community is outraged also. The vet said that a new home would be carefully screened. The article said that she had been adopted when she recovers. I wonder if this was a child's prank. With school out some kid's do not have much to do. Just a thought. The community is sending donations, and offering a reward for the person or persons responsible. I wonder what this poor baby did for someone to do this to her. The link is www.dailyprogress.com. I absolutely cannot imagine what kind of person could do this sort of thing, but most importantly, God does. If God gave this little female boxer the will to live after all that she went thru, he has some big plans for her and I have to believe that it will be the most wonderful and happy life a little boxer could wish for. My prayers are with her and the people that came to her rescue. May their rewards be great! Patty and Sophie:p

That is sooo sad and downright frightening to think that there is a human out there who is responsible for such dispicable behaviour!:eek: :mad:
It would be just so fitting, especially in this case, where the perpetrator be given the same treatment as the victim, as his punishment!
The poor thing oviously had a strong will to live! I am so happy to hear that with time and loving care, she will be okay!
