Could someone please tell me where to find a warm coat for my girl. She has a sweater but, it doesn't look as warm as it should be. I remember some talk about warmer coats but can't seem to remember where you get them. Thanks and Jenny will thank you too!

The best one's in our area are at the small local petstores, but I'm sure you can find some good one's online you'll just have to be careful about the sizing since sometimes and X-large fits a pug and sometimes a Rott...

Abbey is still growing so we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a coat for her this year since it might not fit next year, but we found a great "Jeep" brand coat at Petco for only $15. It is like a horse blanket style where it goes over her back and velcros across her chest and under her belly. Jacket material on the outside, fleece on the underside. I don't think they got a lot of them in, but you might want to check it out. It's a great coat for the price.

Thank you for the coat ideas. I will look into it today. We walked this morning and it was 28 degrees. Jenny definitely needed a warm coat. I knew you all would know ones perfect for boxers.

Another great brand is "Foggy Mountain". They look and fit like a horse blanket, but are really warm. easy to get on and off a "bouncing" boxer and look great. A little spendier than most (app. $50.00) but worth the price. I haven't found them in stores, but you can go to their website.

Do a search on ebay. The seller that I bought mine from made Bailey and Beau's according to the measurements I gave her. With Beau's deep chest and Bailey's long body it was much easier (and strangely enough cheaper) to have them made rather than order them from a company. They are fleece lined and waterproof. Beau is wearing his in my avatar :)
