Want to change Rocky's feeding times

I want to change my oldest, Rocky's feeding times. As of now, I don't even know how much he eats during the day while I'm at work because the St. Bernard gets fed in the back while I'm at work, so I only could assume they share. He looks well fed, so I know he eats plenty. The other time I know that he eats is in the evening at around 8 when I feed him. I want to switch his feeding times to the morning, while I get ready for work, which is around 6:30am. I also want his second feeding to be when I get back from work at around 6pm. How do I go about switching his schedule?

I would just start doing it. I feed my dogs right after they've gone outside in the morning, before I get ready for work - around 6 a.m.. That way, they have enough time to go outside again before I go to work. I feed them again around 6 p.m. I'd feed them in separate spaces at to avoid sharing. Take up the bowls after 15 minutes whether or not they've eaten. Do the same thing at night. Your dogs will adapt quickly, due to hunger. Since you'll be feeding 2x daily, they won't go hungry long, if they refuse to eat at first. The longest I've had a dog starve itself was 3 full days. On the fourth day, all was well!

Thanks for the help. Rocky is getting it now. At first he didn't want to eat that early so I'd just take away the food after about 15 mins. He now eats in the morning and when I get home
