How often is your dog vomiting? Is it just after feeding? What did your vet say about it? What are you feeding?

the last time this happened, she vomited about 15 times within an hour and a half. vet said that her xrays showed she had over eaten something. she started vomiting this morning prior to eating, she acts like she's hungry. after the first episode she was on a rice and chicken diet for about a week. now she is back on kibble and has done well until this morning. there was some kind of hard plastic pieces in her vomit this morning. not really sure what it was. this morning she has vomited about 6 times in about 2 hours.

Well, if there was some hard plastic pieces, sounds like she ate something she shouldn't have. Her body is probably trying to get rid of it. Hopefully, it hasn't caused a blockage which is making her vomit. I would definately watch and make sure she goes to the bathroom too. If there is a blockage, you need to get her to a vet. It probably wouldn't hurt to call your vet and tell him/her what is going on either, especially with the plastic pieces.

We had this problem with Sarge a little over a week ago. Turns out he was getting more of his nylabone off then what we thought. This went on for about 4 days...until he got all of the nylabone out of his system. During this time, we made sure he had enough water and only gave him a little food at a time. He's doing just fine now

How does she seem otherwise? So much vomitting for such a little one can't be good. Juse based on what you say, seems to me that if it goes on much longer, further testing (maybe a scope) should be done to check for damage that may have been caused by whatever she might have gotten into as to the possible cause of the continued vomitting.

she playful and wants to eat. she didn't start having these stomach issues until after she decided to eat a wasp in october. she had a massive allergic reaction and spent a couple of days in the hospital. i have had blood test done since, then and everything has been normal.
